Convenient location in the heart of the city, great for exploring. The rooftop bar and pool had a fun vibe and the views were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common area was nice and cozy, perfect for relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was abundant.
The air conditioning in the dorms was not very effective, it was still quite warm inside. Some of the seating on the roof was broken.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the beautiful historic building and the comfortable rooms. The location was also a key aspect, as it was right in the center, allowing me to easily explore Santa Marta. Additionally, the rooftop bar/restaurant and live music at night added a fun and lively atmosphere to the hostel.
Two aspects that I disliked were the higher prices compared to other hostels in the area and the loud music that played until 1am, sometimes making it difficult to sleep. However, I understand that the hostel is known for its party vibe, so it was partly my responsibility for not expecting it.

The location is great, right in the middle of town and easy access to bars and restaurants. My family and I recently stayed at Masaya in Santa Marta for a week-long vacation. The two pools were a hit with my kids, and the rooftop area was perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed the multicultural atmosphere, with many foreigners staying at the hotel. It was great to have a safe in our room, and the air conditioning and TV worked perfectly. com. When I became sick, they quickly arranged for a doctor and even changed our room without any additional charges. The open kitchen on the rooftop was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals or have them prepared for us at a reasonable price. The free dancing lessons at the rooftop bar created a fun and vibrant atmosphere. we were impressed with the concept and organization of the hotel.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
